		<description>I do agree. My one qualifier is that some believers have an ethics which
floats separately to the bible, and while they believe "in the bible",
they do not embrace all parts of the bible. Their ethics is as much a
function of their analysis of the bible as the bible itself, and their
values are those that atheists agree with.

So, the endorsement might be of values that both atheists and believers
share, but not values which can only be said to emerge from the bible.

Sure, from a practical political point of view its easier to focus on values
which are separate to the bible. A futher is what values should influence
government and the state, if values should have any influence at all.</description>
